Eliana Black
This is junior Eliana Black's second year on the Watchdog staff. Eliana is both an athlete and student leader at Hylton.  She is a member of the Varsity Swim team at Hylton and a summer swim team.  Additionally, Eliana holds many leadership roles at Hylton. She is a CISL committee member, the director for Hylton and In-Country Events, and the manager of Varsity Boys' Lacrosse team.

Outside of school she also has many commitments. Her favorite activity is coaching Special Olympics swimming. She helps people with disabilities learn to be legal in all swimming strokes and compete. She also has been in Girl Scouts for 11 years, and has 2 jobs. Eliana is a special education aide for homeroom and loves supporting students.

Eliana manages to balances all her extracurricular activities and school work by always working on her AP assignments as soon as she gets home from practice. She never procrastinates. 

Eliana plans to major in psychology in college, with a minor in special education.  She is interested in how different brains work and what makes humans act the way they do.
