The buzz around the summer blockbuster season has all of us on the edge of our seats waiting for our favorite trailers to come to the big screen. To help mediate the excitement, here are some movies you can watch right now on Netflix.

Number 1: The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight was the second installment of Christopher Nolan’s three part Batman series. Starting off with Batman Begins in 2005, and then onto The Dark Knight in 2008, the final installment of the series: The Dark Knight Rises is unfortunately not on Netflix. However, with the release of the new Batman movie title “The Batman,” it is definitely worth re-watching the older Batman movies. Whether you already watched the new Batman and want to enjoy another take or simply want to compare the two, it should definitely be on your list.

Number 2: Jeen-Yuhs

Kayne West is one of America’s biggest musicians; he has a career spanning 25 years, most of which was filmed and put into a documentary. The documentary titled “Jeen-Yuhs” was directed by Coodie Simmons; Coodie follows a young West as he goes from a producer out of Chicago, to dropping his first album, all the way to West winning a Grammy. The three part documentary comes to Netflix as Kayne and his wife Kim Kardashian go through a very public divorce. The documentary is worth watching regardless, especially if you’d like to watch something non-fiction.

Number 3: Django Unchained

Django Unchained is an American western by Quentin Tarantino that follows a German dentist turned bounty hunter and his companion Django, who was a former slave, as they attempt to free Django’s wife from her master. Although the movie can be intense at some points, the amazing acting from Jamie Foxx and Samuel L. Jackson mixed with the amazing plot makes for an enjoyable three hours.

Number 4: War Dogs

War Dogs is a true story based on the lives of Efraim Diveroli and David Packouz, two young American businessmen who worked their way to the top of the arms dealing world. The two businessmen went from being massage therapists and working for their uncle, to securing one of the biggest military contracts in American history. The two eventually were caught up in a lie they spun in order to secure the deal. War Dogs is a great movie to watch if you like based on real event movies and comedy.

Number 5: The Social Network

The Social Network follows the rise of Facebook from a young Mark Zuckerberg perspective as he goes from being a social outcast in his Harvard dorm to one of the richest men in the world. It uncovers the shady deals and backstabs that made Facebook the company it is today.
