2022 Super Bowl LVI

Despite being shut down due to COVID last year, NFL football was back this season. Last season the teams could play, however, no one could spectate. Almost everything is back to normal now.

This past Super Bowl was the fifty-sixth in NFL history. It was on February 13, 2022. The teams that played were the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. Both teams played great seasons. Bengals ended their season with thirteen wins and eight losses. The Rams ended their season with sixteen wins and five losses. In the playoffs the Bengals beat out the Raiders, Titans, and Chiefs. The Rams beat the Cardinals, Buccaneers, and 49ers. Quarter back of the Bengals is Joe Burrow, and quarterback of the Rams is Matthew Stafford.

First quarter, Rams were up seven to three beating the Bengals. By halftime, Rams were up thirteen to ten still ahead of the Bengals. The Bengals made a comeback third quarter, the score was 16-20 Bengals were ahead. The game was head-to-head for the majority of the fourth quarter. In the end, the Rams had pulled off winning. The final score was 20-23. The Rams won the Super Bowl by a field goal.

It was a very good game, and, in the end, it came very close. However, the Los Angeles won the title for Champions of the fifty-sixth Super Bowl. It was only their second win. The Rams have only previously won one Super Bowl in the year 2000.
