The setting of Godzilla vs. Kong will take place 5 years after the events of King of The Monsters. From what the trailers show, It appears that humans will bring Kong to the mainland for some unknown reason. Of course, some would say the reason they need Kong is to fight Godzilla. In the trailer, however, they never say who exactly they need Kong for. They only say that the world needs him. Either theory might be correct.

What makes this movie absolutely crazy is that in the original 1962 original of King Kong vs. Godzilla, King Kong had won against Godzilla. During the battle at Mt. Fuji, King Kong was infused with lightning, giving him a second wind. Then, both Godzilla and Kink Kong fell into the ocean. This adds some curiosity between two beloved movie monsters that are known in cinema. Would the 2021 movie be exactly like the original? Will the victors change? In this case, you can not have one without the other. The people who worked on this movie are not that crazy to kill off Godzilla, right?

Lastly, another thing that people are excited about. A very big thing! Mechagodzilla, also known as Kiryu,  will make an appearance. That’s right! The mechanical doppelganger of Godzilla will join in on the battle with the two unstoppable forces. There have been many hints of Mechagodzilla appearing in the film. The first was that toy companies were releasing products that had contained Mechagodzilla inside. The second being in the very first trailer at the beginning. A neck that looks mechanical rises from the smoke ten seconds into the trailer. Lastly, in the sneak peek of Godzilla vs. Kong, in Godzilla’s eye reflection, glowing eyes can be seen with a being that looks like a close resemblance to Godzilla himself. Originally, Mechagodzilla was made to try and kill Godzilla if he would turn bad. Will Kong and Mechagodzilla team up against Godzilla in a two-on-one battle that will shake the world?

Godzilla vs. Kong will release in theaters on March 30 and will also be released to anyone who has an HBO Max subscription. The greatest battle to settle on who will be the true King of The Monsters will happen soon. Who will win? The mighty Godzilla or the King Kong?
