The popular British band, Gorillaz, have recently announced the official release and full tracklist for their upcoming album titled “Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez “. There will be two versions of this album, a standard version with 11 tracks on it, and a deluxe version with 17 tracks on it. They are both set to release on October 23rd. Also, both versions of the album will be featuring other music artists on all of their tracks, such as Robert Smith from The Cure, Beck, ScHoolboy Q, slowthai, Peter Hook, Georgia, Elton John, Kano, Slaves, and many more.

Although the album has not been released yet (as of October 14th, 2020), most of the songs off of the standard version of Song machine Season 1, have been released, as well as one track off the deluxe version. The reason as to why these songs were released early, was because Song Machine Season 1 is also a music series, in which a single from the album is released at a certain time, usually once a month, along with a music video, and small pieces of audio called Machine Bitez which contain conversations between the fictional members of the band and sometimes other music artists that were featured on the album.

Will There be Any Live Shows For Song Machine Season 1?

As of October 14th, 2020, there have been eleven live shows planned. The first show that will kick off this tour, is December 12th, 2020, which will be a virtual-only concert that will be shown on the streaming platform LIVEnow, due to the Coronavirus making in-person concerts unsafe. The next 2 shows after this one, will also be virtual and streamed on LIVEnow. However, there will be in-person live concerts in 2021 in the following countries, France, Spain, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, and Australia. However, is it unknown if they will delay, or even cancel these live shows if it considered unsafe to do so, due to the previously mentioned Coronavirus pandemic.
