“I am thankful to be going to such an exciting and dynamic school. I am endlessly aware of how fortunate I am to be placed in such an environment that sets me up for success in college and in my future. I am also incredibly thankful for my family and friends, who have been by my side since day one. “I’m thankful to have found a meaningful career I’m passionate about and to lead the Watchdog staff; working with such a dedicated, talented group of student journalists brings me great joy!  They are the absolute best part of my job. Outside of the classroom, my six-year-old son Jayden makes every day bright.  He keeps me motivated and balanced.  Jayden is my sweetest, biggest dream come true.  I’m fortunate to have parents who would do anything for us.  I’m also grateful for my boyfriend, Chris Scuderi, who loves me unconditionally and has my back everyday.  His encouragement and support made it possible for me to pursue my admin certificate program; I’m already halfway through JMU’s cohort.”   -Ms. Brittany Bauccio, Adviser
